Happy Birthday to Dan who celebrated his 18th last week. Both cakes were a light, moist, lemon sponge. Numbers were made with royal icing and a few fondant ones, with fondant starts on wires. A number 18 sparkler candle finishes it off.
80th birthday cake ordered by Lucy for her grandma. Cake is a vanilla bean sponge with a vanilla cream and raspberry jam filling, covered in soft white fondant with fondant blossoms, handmade roses and birthday banner.
We were asked to make a 40th birthday cake for Richard who is a big Leeds Rhinos fan. This is a vanilla sponge cake in the shape and design of the Rhinos home shirt, complete with hand drawn sponsorship logos. Who knew a rugby top would have so many logos on it!
A 50th Birthday ensemble, vanilla sponge cake with fresh flowers, vanilla cupcakes in cases, buckets and pots with a sprinkling of chocolate biscuits and fresh lavender.
Neapolitan ice-cream cake. Three layers of sponge cake made to resemble Neapolitan ice-cream with a melted chocolate ganache, sprinkles and ice-cream cone. Happy Birthday mum!
