Happy Birthday to Dan who celebrated his 18th last week. Both cakes were a light, moist, lemon sponge. Numbers were made with royal icing and a few fondant ones, with fondant starts on wires. A number 18 sparkler candle finishes it off.

We were asked to make a 40th birthday cake for Richard who is a big Leeds Rhinos fan. This is a vanilla sponge cake in the shape and design of the Rhinos home shirt, complete with hand drawn sponsorship logos. Who knew a rugby top would have so many logos on it!
