A very belated, very special cake for our very special girl 🙂 Partly because she didn’t have a big birthday celebration (and therefore no ‘proper’ cake) but mostly because she’s an absolute legend!

No simple requests from Kit, no sir 🙂 This is a gingerbread cake with different spices, two different raising agents, two different syrups and then once baked has to be wrapped and stored for a few days to let the spices properly develop!

She’s out at the moment so I’ve finally had the chance to unwrap and decorate it with melted chocolate, caramel sauce, Curly Wurly, Fudge, Kinder Egg, Ferrer Rocher, a chocolate truffle mouse and of course sprinkles!
